The 2016 Competition Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures have been approved for use during the 2016 competitive ballooning season.

Events or pilots desiring to have competitive tasks submitted to the National Eligibility List (NEL) must notify an HACD Board member, National Sanction Manager or the NEL Manager prior to the start of each event. Events that promote fair and challenging competition as determined by the NEL Manager will be listed in the “Results” section of the BFA website for their inclusion in the NEL.

We have provided links to both a pdf and Word version for your convenience. If you run an event and wish to tailor the rules of Section I and II to the particulars of your event, use the Word format to make the necessary edits.
